Introduction
Thank you for joining School Space! To ensure all communications reach your staff without being filtered as spam, please whitelist our domain at your email system level.
Domain to Whitelist
Please add the following domain to your safe sender list:
- school-space.org
Instructions by Email System
Microsoft Exchange Server/Office 365
For Exchange Admin Center (EAC):
- Log in to the Exchange Admin Center
- Navigate to Mail flow > Accepted domains
- Click + to add a new accepted domain
- Enter school-space.org as the domain name
- Select External relay domain as the domain type
- Click Save
For anti-spam settings:
- Go to Mail flow > Anti-spam
- Select Allow lists > Domain allow list
- Add school-space.org to your allowed domains

Google Workspace for Education
- Sign in to the Google Admin console (admin.google.com)
- Go to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail
- Click Spam, phishing and malware
- Scroll to Spam section
- Under Approved senders, click ADD ANOTHER
- Enter school-space.org in the domain field
- Click Save

Barracuda Email Security Gateway
- Log in to the Barracuda Email Security Gateway web interface
- Go to Block/Accept > Domain Policies
- Click Add Domain Policy
- Enter school-space.org
- Set Policy Type to Accept
- Click Add

FortiMail (FortiNet)
- Log in to the FortiMail administration interface
- Navigate to Policy > IP Policy > IP Policies
- Click Create New
- Set Source to school-space.org
- Set Action to Bypass scan on SMTP sessions whose: > Sender matches this domain
- Click Create

Cisco Email Security (IronPort)
- Log in to the Cisco Email Security interface
- Go to Mail Policies > Address Lists
- Click Add Address List
- Name it "School Space"
- Enter school-space.org in the domains section
- Go to Mail Policies > Incoming Mail Policies
- Click on your default policy (or create a specific policy)
- Under Anti-Spam, click the link in the settings column
- Add your "School Space" address list to the safe senders list
- Submit and commit changes

Verification Steps
After whitelisting the domain:
- Ask School Space to send a test email to an address on your domain
- Check the email headers to confirm it wasn't marked as spam
- If using Microsoft, check the spam confidence level (SCL) in the headers - it should be -1 for whitelisted domains

Please ensure these specific School Space addresses can reach your staff:
- bookings@school-space.org - For booking confirmations and updates
- finance@school-space.org - For invoices and financial communications
- support@school-space.org - For support inquiries
- noreply@school-space.org - For automated notifications
