We have cancellation charges in place to ensure that the spaces and schools get used to their full potential. Charging cancellation fees deters from last-minute cancellations, meaning that we can stick to our promise to the school and they can receive the maximum benefit from letting out their spaces and ensure that our site staff are paid fairly for any last-minute changes to their schedules.
Whether you’ll be charged or not depends on:
- How much notice you give us before cancelling
- The type of booking - either a one-off event or a date within a regular booking
If you have a new booking with us here at School Space and cancel your confirmed booking prior to the start date, your booking deposit will be retained in full.
If you have a one-off event with us:
If you cancel more than 14 days before your one-off booking, the booking deposit will be retained.
If you cancel up to & including 14 days before your one-off booking, the full cost of the event will be retained.
If you choose to end your event early, or leave the facility before your agreed booking period ends, unfortunately this will not result in a refund.
If you have regular bookings with us:
If you cancel by the 1st of the month for the upcoming month, no cancellation fee is charged.
If you cancel after the 1st of the month, the full cost of the event will be charged.
Please note that any cancellations made with under 7 days notice between the 1st-7th of the month will still be charged.
If you have a camp booked with us:
If you cancel over 4 weeks before your camp is due to start, your booking deposit will be retained.
If you cancel 2-4 weeks before your camp is due to start, 50% of your total booking cost and the booking deposit will be retained.
If you cancel 2 weeks or less before your camp is due to start, the full booking cost (including deposit) will be retained.
