We charge a toilet cleaning fee for all one-off bookings that are over 3 hours and have over 15 attendees. A toilet cleaning fee is also charged at the end of each week for all camps.
Why do we charge a toilet cleaning fee?
We have the toilets cleaned to ensure that after days with higher numbers of our customers using the toilets, we can promise the school they will find them clean for their use, and to the standard they require.
The toilet cleaning fee is charged to ensure that the toilets are left clean, all other spaces must be left as found they were found by you, with all large bits of rubbish removed and any furniture that has been moved must be returned to its original place.
Why is the toilet cleaning fee £100?
We charge £100 to cover the overhead costs and logistics of carrying out a clean including:
- the fee we pay the outsourced cleaning company- as cleans are after one-off events and parties, they tend to be at less sociable times, resulting in the cleaning company charging a premium rate. As the clean needs to be done in one hour, the cleaning company sends two operatives to ensure that the job is completed.
- the wages we pay our Community Connectors (on-site staff) for their shift while they stay and then lock up the school after the cleaners have finished.
- additional head office costs in arranging and liaising with the outsourced cleaning company to fit around other customer groups appropriately.
